STEPPING INTO THE FUTURE WITH AN ERP SOLUTION

Lombard goes paperless with SAP Business One

Party and packaging supplies company Lombard The Paper People’s big step into the future…

Lombard logoUnlike fine wine, business systems don’t tend to get better with age. That’s the fundamental reason why Lombard The Paper People, a Melbourne family-owned business with interests in the party and food packaging supplies and display merchandise, went to the market to find better software to run its national operations. It found the answer to its challenges with Cloud Factory and SAP’s Business One solution, which, after a practically flawless implementation, has transformed the business from paper-heavy, to digitally slick.

Unafraid of a challenge, the company didn’t just change its back-end systems but agreed with the Cloud Factory team to simultaneously upgrade its warehouse and point of sale solutions as part of the overall project.

The Solution

Cloud Factory handled both the SAP Business One and HighJump Warehouse Management System implementation, integrating these solutions as well as working closely with the Magenta POS team to ensure tight integration.
Remarkably, the projects were brought together on time and within budget.

“That’s a testament of the Cloud Factory team’s willingness to make themselves available whenever it was required, for as long as required to meet deadlines, the integration of our systems has delivered a huge benefit.”

~said Michelle Kevill, Special Projects Manager at Lombard.
