If you don’t use warehouse documents, you can still reduce the effort normally associated with processing a sales or purchase orders by scanning with Warehouse Insight. Scan items, enter quantities to ship or receive, and leverage all the advanced tools in Warehouse Insight to simplify your operations.

WMS Express can be supported on both Windows* and Android-based mobile devices. So whether you have existing hardware or you’re acquiring new hardware, there are a lot of compatible devices to choose from.
A paid support plan is required for devices running Windows.

WMS Express supports many makes and models of handheld devices, including mobile computers, tablets, smart-phones, wearables and more. This flexibility enables you to leverage existing infrastructure or to tailor the hardware selection to the specific needs of your environment. WMS Express scans both 1D and 2D barcodes. For those adopting 2D data matrix barcodes you’ll enjoy the compact size with large data capacity enabling you to store more information and collect more information in a single scan.

How do I upgrade to Warehouse Insight?
To upgrade to Warehouse Insight simply uninstall WMS Express and contact CloudFactory to install Warehouse Insight. Data does NOT migrate from WMS Express. .
How do I get WMS Express?
WMS Express is available as part of the CloudFactory client configuration as part of the implementation. It can also be added at a later date.
How do CloudFactory support WMS Express?
An online knowledge base and forum are publicly available to help answer any questions you may have. Alternatively call the team to book some training.
Can WMS Express be tested in a sandbox environment?
Yes. CloudFactory can install WMS Express in a Business Central Cloud sandbox environment to show you the capabilities as part of the initial project review.
Can I use WMS Express and Warehouse Insight at the same time?
No. You cannot have both products installed at the same time. To install Warehouse Insight CloudFactory must first uninstall WMS Express if installed and vice-versa.
How is WMS Express licensed?
There is no license for WMS Express required. However, in order to connect your scanner to Business Central, you will need a Business Central license from CloudFactory. You can connect with either a Full User license or a Device license. Device licenses make the most sense if you have shared devices that are used by people that otherwise would not have a Business Central login.
What costs may be incurred?
WMS Express licensing is free; however, WMS Express is designed to be installed on a mobile device. If you do not already have a mobile device, you’ll likely need to purchase a device. Phones can be used for trying out the system, but they are not the best choice for regular use in a warehouse. Should you require training then this can be provided.
How many mobile devices does WMS Express support?
WMS Express will allow up to five devices to be used concurrently. If you require more than five devices per location, please consider upgrading to Warehouse Insight.
Can WMS Express be used in multiple locations within a company?
Yes. While WMS Express is limited to five devices, you can have as many locations as you like, and not every location requires the same configuration.
Who should consider implementing WMS Express work with Microsoft Dynamics 365
For many organisations starting off their systems change, WMS Express will provide all the functionality as required at the start when it comes to warehouse management. For those with more complex requirements, Warehouse Insight is a good option.

What does it take to implement WMS Express?
Assuming CloudFactory have set up Dynamics 365 Business Central and running and have configured your warehouse settings, then implementing WMS Express is easy to install. Actually, once installed you will be presented with a barcode to scan which will then automatically configure your device. The configuration is quick and easy!
If I upgrade to Warehouse Insight, can I downgrade to WMS Express in the future?
Yes. CloudFactory will coordinate the downgrade from Warehouse Insight and license termination and install WMS Express.
