Item Lookup: Item or Bill of Material?

Its quite common to see aspects that fulfill multiple roles and serve multiple purposes. Here we consider that certain items are also parent items in bills of materials.
By default in SAP Business One, when clicking the link arrow next to an item code (which coincidentally is also a bill of materials) the Bill of Materials window opens showing the child items.
But what if you actually prefer to see the item master data of the parent item? For that purpose, SAP Business One introduces a new navigation option allowing you to decide whether the link arrow would open:
- The Bill of Materials window
- The Item Master Data of the parent item
You can change this setting at any time. By default this option is not selected.
Available in SAP Business One 10.0 PL00 and SAP Business One 10.0, version for SAP HANA PL00.
