What are Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central License Costs?

Dynamics 365 Business Central is Microsoft's ERP business system for small and medium-sized businesses. Microsoft Business Central provides integrated functionality for each department such as OPERATIONS, FINANCE, PROJECT MANAGEMENT and SALES

Customise continuously

With Dynamics 365 Business Central, you can easily customise your processes to suit your company and help you connect your business and make informed decisions.

Here's a scenario to understand the functionality of Microsoft Business Central

Dynamics 365 Customer Service Workflow

If you’re a business owner, your work day often begins at home, triaging emails early in the morning. Having grown the business from the ground up, you know your customers and vendors, and you’re still involved in day-to-day operations. But the bigger the company gets, the more complex your business processes become.

Each email adds something to your to-do list, which typically requires transitioning to a different application. You use accounting software to prepare an invoice, a CRM system to manage your contacts and sales pipeline, and perhaps yet another manufacturing solution to track production or inventory.

Switching back and forth between fragmented, stand alone solutions takes time and often requires duplicate data entry. This diminished productivity stifles your ability to scale and cuts into time you could spend developing new business.  To keep up the pace of your growth, you’re likely considering the move to a more comprehensive business management solution.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, helps you get through administrative tasks quickly and easily so you can focus on the big picture, and your team can spend more time taking care of customers. Let’s dive into how Microsoft can help.

Microsoft recently launched a device licensing option for Dynamics 365 Business Central. This presents an opportunity for organisations to provide a better experience with some dedicated device applications and potentially reduce their licensing costs.

The device license is something Microsoft offer with some of the other Dynamics 365 offerings. Before the device license every user of Dynamics 365 Business Central required an individual login to the system. Now you can license a device and anyone in your organisation can access the device without an individual login.

The device license is a limited license with a subset of Business Central capabilities. The device license is a per device per month subscription cost like the rest of Dynamics 365 Business Central licenses for cloud. The device licenses start from £30.20 per license.

Device Licenses - New changes
$54.90 per month

With the Dynamics 365 Business Central Device license, multiple users can use a device that is licensed with a Dynamics 365 Business Central Device to operate a point of sale device, shop floor device, or warehouse device. A single device can provide any of the following functionality and can have a combination of each. Device SLs do not include all the capabilities of the Full user. • Starting and finishing production jobs (including project activities carried out on the shop floor)
  • Reporting progress
