This session is a must for all Finance Users! Please see the agenda for later this month and of course please remember to save your spot for the event by registering below.

Preparing Financial Reporting with Account Schedules

Account Schedule

You can set up various layouts to define the information that you want to extract from the chart of accounts. One of the main functions of account schedules is to provide a place for calculations that cannot be made directly in the chart of accounts, such as creating subtotals for groups of accounts, which can be included in new totals and can then be used in other totals.

Account Schedule Development

We will be reviewing the process and explain the use of GL Account Categories. We will discuss Column Layouts, % calculations, comparing general ledger figures and general ledger budgets

Account Periods using Formula

Account schedule can compare the results of different accounting periods, such as this month versus same month last year.

And More!

By the end of the overview we hope you will have greater understanding for Account Schedules! You should be able to:

  • Set up account schedules.
  • Set up column layouts.
  • Use account schedules and column layouts to compare actuals to budgets.
  • Export account schedules to Microsoft Excel.
